Stalking the mailperson. Expecting packages today!

ETA: I forgot to tell y'all I didn't get the job. But its okay, really - this particular job would have entailed completely changing my sleep schedule, travelling on icy roads in the winter here, and training downstate (away from Chris). So I'm okay with it. I was also told that (unsubstantiated rumor, but I tend to believe it) interviewing was a complete waste of my time because they had a favorite candidate before they ever posted the job internally. This company is known for nepotism (the favorite candidate was a relative of someone), so I'm not surprised.

Oh darn! Well, at least you allowed them to LOOK like they were being fair and interviewing to get the best candidate. I'm glad you aren't bothered by it.

The other girl that applied from our store, is, however, madder than spit. And our department manager was pretty upset too (she's the one who told me). But as for me, what's the use? What's done is done and I can't change it. I've said for a while that I really did not want to be management with this particular company anyway, I applied for this job because it would have looked great on my resume and possibly led to some other, better things. So hopefully the other, better things will come along without that stepping stone.

. There's a bug that if you remap your keys (don't know if you do that, but I do), which means you ALWAYS fall off and die. If you do get stuck at that bit, let me know and I'll tell you how to get past it

waaaahhhhh? phew! I don't remap any keys. My spacebar gets a workout and the W key has a hard time when playing games.

Funnily enough I have worn out the lettering on the L (completely gone) and IPANME barely readable. W is OK. Not enough gaming on this machine!

Lucky I know where all these letters are! I could get a new keyboard specially seeing as the little leg underneath has broken and superglue only works for one day. But I found a bit of (window frame?) in the shed to substitute.

Trying to decide whether or not to splurge almost €30 on an eau de perfum. Yesterday my sister and I went shopping and I bought some shower gels at The Bodyshop, we both got a tester with their new White Musk Libertine perfume. I put some on this morning and I love it, it smells a bit like my favourite shower gel from Lush, Olive Branch.

I would do it now before the euro crashes and it will cost €300

And you will enjoy it now rather than later.

Well, it's the "white" and the "musk" .... but I do like a good rake, in the regency romance novels I read! Not always the same as a libertine, but I think it is in some senses. Maybe. Sorta.

I know what you mean. The store I shouldn't go into or visit their webshop is Lush, I visited the shop in Rotterdam two days ago and was proud that I only bought 3 things I needed. Lately I've been rediscovering The Body Shop, again a not-so-cheap store.

LOL, if you put it that way. I might just get the €10 discount card, looking back how often I bought items with the in the last couple of months it might be worth it.
