The same green as yesterday (Wei Chuan pearl green), but at ~180°F for two minutes. It tastes like a completely different tea. There's just a hint of astringency with almost no bitterness, but the flavor is still quite robust.

I haven't really been a fan of green teas, but this is good.

It is, in many ways, a completely different tea. You've changed which flavonoids are extracted, and the ratios of them. The hotter the water, the more grassy notes you're likely to bring out, and the greater the astringency/bitterness. And while there are "rules" for each tea, the only rule that really matters is your personal taste. So, if you prefer the flavour profile of an English Breakfast, say, steeped at 195 instead of 212, then that's the temperature you should steep it at. (And if you do, chances are you're drinking your English Breakfast without milk &/or sugar.) If, on the other hand, you're making Builder's Tea in Yorkshire, you'll want that water at a full rolling boil and the pot well heated. Different tea, different set of requirements.

My Husband had a crown removed yesterday and said that sucked. It didn't hurt but the sound was awful.

If this weather keeps up, I may have to reconsider my aversion to slushies, pooh. It's been a tad warm here. Hopefully, things will cool down after the weekend, though. If the weather people are to be believed.

Right now, drinking faux San Pellegrino.
