Lion Mountain Keemun in my cup.

New chickens having a lively discussion with the older girl, but it seems friendly. She's telling them about all the goodies they can expect, like daily scratch and regular walks around the yard, and they're telling her about the horrible ride they had in this tight dark box with all three of them in there, beak by tail. All in all, a good discussion.

Resin IPA by Sixpoint brewing. Had a BEAST of a workout, so I am rewarding myself a little.

<shudder> I'm sure, would one be of a mind to do such a thing with Port Charlotte, that it would indeed. But you know, my beloved pooh, that I am not in favour of any addition to my single malts beyond the veriest drop of water for the higher proof ones. And while ice is just frozen water, it's really hard to control the quantity that ends up diluting the malt. I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree on slushies.

I'll settle for my PC with just a wee bit of water this evening.

Agreed .... but if you ever just want to just .... sample a slushie ... fill your glass with coarsely crushed ice, pour the malt, swirl, and sip ... before the ice melts ... and savor the new tasting profile ...
