Over, under, sideways round
Sure, you are the co-author.
Next, let's sidetrack this thread with rewrites of classic lines: To be, or not to be: That is the question. -- Hamlet Modern rewrite: Tbd, or not tbd. Make up your mind, girl! -- Fresh Prince of Bel Air Classic: Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble. -- witches from Macbeth Modern: Prepare for trouble Make it double We'll have you believing Truth can be deceiving -- Pokemon Double Trouble All's fair in Love and Literature. Take things out of context, rearrange lines hither and dither. Since there is nothing new under the sun, 'tis all fair play. Let the jousting begin. |

"I am here to accept responsibility for that which I did. I will not accept responsibility for that which I did not do. " Fat Abe then inverted the sentence into a stream of Contra-Positives: "I am here to blame others for my irresponsibility. I will accept blame only for thread hijacking but not thread kidnapping. One of these crimes is punishable by hanging, and the other, by exile. Or, vice versa." And now for another Oliver North quote: "I don't think there is another person in America that wants to tell this story as much as I do." which Fat Abe ran through his OCR corruption program and turned into: "I don't think there is another person in America that wants to sell this story as much as I do." |

Current event humor?
You're a day late and a dollar short. Try it on the current administration. I could use a laugh. |

This brings to mind the classic line:
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than have a frontal lobotomy. Or this joke I heard somewhere:I think, therefore I am. Decarte said "I think not" and disappeared.

Not being one for First Person Shooters, or video games much in general, I decided to give Bioshock a try (it was cheap, and had a good rep'). I must say, it's a very interesting and disturbing game, but once I started in with the monkey wrench, for 15 minutes walloping the splashing, bloody pulp out of the corpse of that psychotic, mutant Objectivist that had the gun in the pram, while listing out all the reasons mummy doesn't love me, I found that the I could distract myself from the unnerving ambience of the game, if not progress very quickly.
No nightmares for me! Hey, anyone ever play Little Big Planet? That's a fun game, hey? My sackperson looks like a lion in a corked hat. Cheers, Marc ("Item #314: You will never give her grandchildren") |

You can scratch #314 off the list. I know the guy that supplies Angelina Jolie. I can get you a huge discount. Or you can adopt. I'm available.
As for the rest of your post, I don't play video games anymore. My imagination is more fun. Jon |

I finally got a chance to test out an actual working Motorola Droid today. Oh wow that screen is crisp! The web browsing experience was quite pleasant and I didn't feel so constrained as I do with my Saga and all the previous smartphones I've owned.
If only there were a WebOS phone with a screen like this. That would be the perfect device IMO! |
