Newsflash! I got home from the gym and Mr M had escaped from the backyard! He must have climbed or jumped out, but where???
![]() Mr M has to go back to the vet (he went last week because of his sore back) in another month for his annual jabs and check up. I am hoping he improves a lot by then. |

Little bugger. Now I can't find him and I am getting worried. I went to the neighbours house to see if he was on her chair but no.
He has a couple more hours before dark and he should be home. I am about to start making a big beef casserole and he usually enjoys some cuts of beef during the process. maybe that will bring him home. ![]() |

Trying to decide whether to play Sims 3 for a while or go to bed and read for a long time.

I like them both, I see them as two very different games. Sims 3 fits my playing style: I love building and I haven't got the patience to play one family generation after generation.

Sorry! I went looking for him, chatted to some neighbours and located him high on a brick fence. Took him home before dark. He is so naughty! Now it is morning the next day and he has gone out again.
He still has trouble jumping on the couch. It beats me how he got on that fence, and one of the neighbours said he was on next door's roof a couple of days ago! He has very strong arms, and can climb. I am guessing there are hand holds on the places he gets up on, because he can't get on the bed! |

With both TS1 and TS2 I had tons of CC, but with TS3 I have very little. Mostly some hacks to solve some bugs. What does annoy me a bit is that the expansion and stuff pack all contain expensive items. I wish there was a little more focus on the poor sim, in TS2 I often used items from University and the Ikea pack. |

Using my iPhone 3G to post because the broadband fault I came to sort out became a fully failed phone line without even a dial tone. For the third time in about a month!

We had quite an eventful morning today.
In my city along most of the main canal there's a lower level where the basements exit (see this photo). One of our basements, however, can't be access through our house. This morning at 7 am the police rang that our neighbour had seen men entering that basement and the police caught one man red handed when he was emptying our basement of old metal stuff that was in there. A year ago we the contractor of the council was restoring the basement walls and they asked if they could store some stuff in our basement, which my father didn't mind, but they never returned the key. Since there wasn't any damage done my father thinks they hadn't bolted the two bolts on the left door and even if they locked the door (lock is on the right door) it couldn't have been pushed open that way. Personally it wouldn't surprise me if one of our neighbours had a hand in it. A couple of months ago she asked my father if she could rent it for storage but my father said no. Today I chatted with her son and he told me that she wanted to continue cleaning that basement out so she could use it. I think she had asked the guy that was arrested to clean it out for her. Not that that's our problem. I think they are going to continue restoring the wharfs soon but that contractor isn't allowed to use the basement any more and he's going to get the bill for a new lock my father had to put on the door. What surprised me most was that the police came by later this morning to have my father sign a statement, usually you have to go the police station at a certain time to get things done. |
