Unknown brand of English Breakfast tea. Actually quite acceptable, considering.

Wagh Bakri Pure Darjeeling

It's got a little more green tea flavor than I'm used to in Darjeeling blacks and it's not quite bitter enough for me. I'll have to try steeping it longer next time.

You might also try changing the brewing temperature. It might well shift the flavour profile.

Nice warm coffee in my Walking Dead Daryl Wings Heat Change Coffee Mug.

So big and heavy you can actually finish off the walkers with it.

Wow. I was used to using cooler water with the greens and this morning tried right off the boil. That really brought out some pleasant bitterness and intensified some of the other flavors. I guess I knew enough to realize that some teas are better with cooler water, but for some reason it didn't occur to me to try the other way.

) I'm deciding between a relatively warm Garnacha red wine (it is getting bitter here now, finally) or a cold Peroni beer, which I'm leaning towards.

I did a flight of three Bruichladdichs this evening. The classic Laddie, the Port Charlotte, and an octomore. Really interesting to see the underlying similarity across the three. The level of peet is very different, but the underlying fruitiness is very similar.
