Just finishing the post-processing on the wedding photos I took last week. Thank God I'm not a wedding photographer. There are always three people at wedding that can NOT be satisfied, regardless of the quality of the shooting...

Oi! We have just been looking at your pictures of Oudegracht with a lovely lady. She was fascinated and noted that her son has the building at number 302. The shop is called Culture Mix and he used to live above the store that is now offices. her grandson lives in the little tiny room at the top.

LOL, the owner of Culture Mix is a customer of ours! The store at 302 is now, I think also where they sell the jewellery that is on sale. The main Culture Mix store is on the other side of the canal from us.

Funny how small the world is!

At the moment I'm doing a small happy dance. The computer casing I was advised by the computer store to get has the ugly blue lighted fan on the front. I already asked the store if it could be switched off and they told me they could cut the wire to the LED. Yesterday I was looking at the specs of the casing and noticed that the front fan had a switch. I emailed the manufacturer asking if the switch is for the fan or the LED lighting and it's the latter. No need for cutting any wires.

I wouldn't undertake that job for all the tea in China! The stress is waaay to high. One of my son's step-sisters got married a few months ago. The wedding photography shot was, simple put, the most creative, most imaginative, and most beautiful wedding photography I ever saw. But all those three could talk about was the one (1) shot that the photographer did NOT take that they would have liked to see... I mean, this woman was simply fantastic. Absolutely beautiful work and all the mothers-in-law could do was bitch about the one missing shot... OK... she shouldn't have missed it. No question about that. It was a simple Bride & Groom alone shot, looking into each other's eyes. (And five minutes with PhotoShop and the photographer could have put it together easily!) And the dozens of fantastic shots she did take were completely ignored...

Half of the post-processing that I did was to 'open eyes,' graft different heads onto bodies or move their eyes so they'd be looking in the proper directions. Easy stuff that can make or break a people pic. And I was only shooting for 'me.' I wasn't working so the 'Three Unplease-ables' can't get upset with me!

I'll stick to shooting travel, nature, and wildlife. I have never had an elephant complain that I didn't catch her good side...

He means bits and pieces from different photos so that everyone seems to be facing in the right direction and smiling.
