Sorry about your weather, guys! Over here we had a light overcast, a gentle breeze, and temperatures were in the ... mid-60s!

I'm about halfway through assembling and installing a new storm door -- in my shirt, no jacket required. When I did the adjusting and test fitting I was able to just leave the front door open. It was that warm!

We'll pay for it. Winters that start out warm around here can lead to ice storms.

Well, finally got to this episode of Jeopardy tonight. And was actually surprised that two of the panelists got it right. Interestingly, given how the question was written, both breeds would have been correct. (And is it just me, or have contestants gotten stupider of late?)

Contestants have gotten WAY stupider ... they immediately pick the 'TV' or 'pop music' categories, and are hopeless on history or geography unless they have 'studied' before their appearance.

AND the Jeopardy clues cater to the 'clueless' - most contain a hint or pun that should allow anyone to guess the correct answer.

Ah ... the old days of Art Fleming ... when all the contestants wore suits, ties, and black plastic rim glasses ... and were actually smart ... and didn't have to wait for the entire clue to be read out before buzzing in.

Up early for a 7AM (PST) world wide all hands meeting. A nice convenient time for the East Coast bosses. Less so for everyone else.

This is going to take coffee to survive. More of my Major Dickason's Blend. But then I'll settle down to some good tea to celebrate a day without rain.
