Oh my gosh

Kinder is my favourite chocolate, and it pretty much always has been. I've seen Milka here, but only at specialty stores, I believe. Kinder can be bought pretty much anywhere. I'll have to send you some chocolate over for Christmas

Please tell me that you have Lindt and Godiva chocolate there.

I could swear I've seen Kinder chocolate somewhere recently. It caught my eye because a friend of mine in the Army used to send it to me when she was stationed in Germany. Where was it, though? Anyway, I'm pretty sure you can order it from Amazon.

I'm not sure the Lindt over here (USA) is the same as the Lindt in the UK. Summer of 1976 I discovered Lindt over in the UK and adored it .... but it wasn't the same when I found it back home. Does it have some alcohol, in the UK? It isn't allowed to have that, over here.

What kind of crazy rule is that? Can't you get chocolate liqueurs or rum truffles?

I can't find it on the web, so I may be wrong! And, back in 1976, we still had to buy liquor at state controlled stores (called "state stores"). Now grocery chains can sell it. So even if it *was* true back then, it might not be now.

But Lindt still doesn't taste quite as good as it did that summer.
