Finished the coffee, it doesn't seem to have done much. I think today it would take an IV drip.

Switching to simple sparkling water. And taking a nap.

I've been drinking Peet's English Breakfast tea all day, and enjoying it. Which is good, because this has definitely been the Monday From Heck. And now I've got to go into the office tomorrow (this was NOT the plan!)

Sigh. I've had to stop the tea, too much caffeine too late in the day. But I'll drink some of my faux San Pellegrino while I finish up the mess on my desktop, and then have a nice, large, single malt later, after dinner.

Fourth mug of tea for the day.

I was just about out of tea yesterday so I stopped at the local Asian food market. I'm was surprised to see that their tea aisle -- which is normally dominated by green and white teas anyway -- was (very) much lower than usual in the black and oolong varieties. I wonder if there's a seasonal factor involved, a marketing reason, or just luck.

Anyway, I have some good green tea, but a little green tea goes a long way for me, so I picked up a couple boxes of the bagged Ti Kuan Yin that I had a while ago. It's good, but a large tin of loose tea is more economical. I'll be out on Friday and I should be able to check out a different Asian market to see what's up.
