Guess I was concentrating too much on the first part of the word and missed the c in scope.

And it was the MR spell checker. It underlined the word in red but I was afraid if I "checked" it I would be cheating.

No wait, I see it, but it's an addin which I don't add. I use Firefox at home so it checks things for me. I'm guessing it's just not in the addin's dictionary list. Sad, because oscilloscope's are the bomb.
