When should we start seeing 350/650 in stores

I'd be happy to post photos, but my PRS-600 is black. I wanted something a little different this time so I went for the red.

I also ordered the lighted book cover. They hinted it would be shipped out soon, but did not give an exact date.

I'm guessing it's a brighter red from this picture:

You can see the maroon 600 in the upper left, and the new 650 looks a bit brighter fire engine red and more metallic.

Thanks for the post. It's too bad they changed the color. I thought the maroon 600 had class.

Okay, I got my black 650 from my local sony style store today. I "preordered" it over the phone last week when the sales guy told me that the warehouse codes on the units were to fill preorders first and then any leftovers would eventually make it out to the stores. Then he told me that I could simply "preorder" it over the phone with him and it would be on the next truck to the store. Crazy stupid, but it worked.

Same here, I find that if you pre-order from a store, your shipment will come in faster then ordering it online or waiting for it to arrive in stores.

I suspect that the 950 will not come with a cover. Take a look at the link below. The body of the 950 looks like a stretched 650 rather than a 900 with a new screen.

I went up to the local Super Walmart tonight to pick up some groceries and decided to see if they had the new 350. The only Reader they had on display was a PRS-505. The display actually worked too! I don't know if they had any in stock--I didn't check since I'm not interested. I thought Sony quit making/selling the 505 years ago.

Red 650's are showing up at Future Shop in Ontario, no accessories yet though.
