Amazing, I think it was because I had a blank Date for a book.

I clearly dont know how to manuver this website, is it possible to edit posts?

Anyways, it worked for some books. but its back to giving me an error.
the only dates in my Calibre are the added date, published date, goodreads date and kobo date.
i checked the metadata comparing what i want to add to what has successfully added and it looks the same.

so im not sure what i am missing or doing wrong.

I dont know how to maneuver around this website, so apologies if this double posts.

But I was able to add some books this morning, but now i am encountering the error again.

the only dates i have is the defaulted date (timestamp), a kobo date, published date, and gr date.
nothing is prior to 1970
and ive compared the metadata between books ive added and want to add now, and nothing looks weird to me.
the only thing ive done since this am is add books and grab all the metadata for them. nothing to the books that were already there.

Actually, blank dates are not the problem. You can have blank dates, as long as the reading progress is less than 100%. If that's the case, then you get a message, but not an error like you posted.

You need a minimum of posts before being able to edit your posts.

The only date Reading Goal uses is the one you selected in the config dialog (#kobo_last_read, according to your print).

Try this:
1) Open the calibre library view
2) Click on the heading of the Status Date column and sort your books by it
3) Check the oldest date, to see if you have something prior to 1970

If you find nothing like that, please send me your JSON database so I can check it. This is saved on your calibre config directory (Usually here on Windows: 'C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Roaming\calibre\plugin s')

The error you are seeing now is the same as before (OSError: [Errno 22] Invalid argument)?

I just noticed that when sorting the Edit window by title, it includes the articles so anything starting with 'a' or 'the' gets grouped together. Is this fixable, or worth fixing?

If you choose 'Title sort', then it won't happen.

I'll see what I can do. I think the best option is to default to 'Title sort' instead of 'Title', since most users tend to prefer it. For those who prefer 'Title', like me, remains the option to sort by 'Title'.

It might make sense to have 'use sorted title' be an option in the config.

- Fix for title sorting: always use 'Title sort', except when the user explicitly choose 'Title'.
- New options:

Jump to the selected book when opening the 'Edit reading goal' dialog
Auto collapse: list the shelves you want to be collapsed when opening the 'Edit reading goal' dialog
Shelf colors: set the color for individual shelves

Auto collapsing shelves is a very cool addition, thank you! Now I can auto collapse my ever-growing-beyond-reason "Want to read"

For color customising, which is also a most welcome feature, I found this helpful table with RGB values:https://www.webucator.com/article/py...stants-module/

(I should note that I've experienced some kind of plugin settings reset after customising colors and perhaps upon switching libraries, can't tell exactly how it happened. Then, when I opened the RG Edit, the plugin asked me to reassign the custom columns and all is good.)

I had done nothing and, after opening the plugin, I've have had to reassign the custom columns too.

Does it happen with the 1.2.1 or only with the new 1.2.2? Did it happen when first using the new version?
