So why am I putting a gardening book in the "cookbooks" thread? Well, gardening/farming provides much of the food that we eat. We like to cook much of our food before we eat it. So, posts about gardening should be put in the "cookbooks" thread. Follow the logic? Yeah, neither did I.

I post this with some caveats. First, the book was just published three days ago, so there are no reviews yet (I usually don't post a book unless it has at least some reviews). However, the author has published several other cookbooks. Some of those, at least, are for sale at Amazon and the ones with ratings there are generally rated highly or very highly.

A second caveat concerns "Amish" cookbooks. A source of frequent complaints in book reviews at Amazon of Amish cookbooks is that they aren't truly Amish, especially because some of the ingredients in the recipes are not things that Amish have or would use. So, be aware (that's different from "beware").

But, the book's free. So, what do you have to lose? Well, except the ingredients (some of which might be expensive), your time, and your effort if you try to prepare recipes from the book and they're flops. But nothing besides those things. haha
