That certainly looks as though it provides a very good level of protection, but, like you, I prefer something rather more "slim-line" for around the house.

I would like to get a cheap, light, thin, case with the auto-on/off feature. Some of the cases being discussed, recently, in this thread look good... except I'm not sure how easy it would be to take the Voyage in and out of the case. Does the Voyage snap into a plastic shell? How is it held into the case? Is the shell likely to break if you take your Voyage in and out too much? Thank you... |

If Amazon had produced a book style cover I would have bought that, as I have with every other Kindle interation. The origami cover is of no use to me. The Incipio and Belkin 'official covers' don't have the sleep/wake function and I can't stand the elastic corners or the adhesive backs. So if you have any sugestions for a good quality book style cover with a clip in case I'd be very grateful. |

At first I had serious concerns about the "flip" style of the Origami cover, but then I considered how I actually used a cover, and realised that I never, ever, hold the cover open: I always fold it back on itself and hold it one-handed. The only difference, therefore, between the flip cover and a book cover is that I open the flip cover vertically rather than horizontally. |

I read MM Romance which can be a bit x-rated so I like the quick and easy option of closing the cover. Plus I often put my kindle down without closing the cover and it goes to sleep so I want quick access to the power button, which for the origami cover is covered by the flipped over front cover, so for me not very practical. Thats why when I originally pre ordered the Voyage I ordered the Belkin book cover, not even considering they would be stupid enough to make a cover without the sleep/wake feature. |

Omoton vs ACcase
I have ordered and received a case/cover for my Voyage from each of these companies.
The ACcase was warped when I got it, but a suggestion to put it in the sun with a heavy book on it helped to modify the warp. The PU leather on the case is very well done. Nicely done power button cutout on the back. The case is a little touchy about being exactly in the right position when closed to turn off the light. An e-mail thru Amazon to the company telling them about the warping resulted in no reply after 10 days. This was ordered before I got my Voyage and received from Hong Kong in about a week. Shipping was $9 with the case costing 8. The Omoton case is lighter than the ACcase. It also seems to be better constructed as it seems tighter all around. The PU leather is patterned (I got the blue one) so has less of a leather look. Also has a nicely done power button cutout on the back. This case is reminiscent of the Amazon Paperwhite case, but does not seem as heavy or hearty (I just sold my PW2 with case so cannot compare). Cost was $8 with free prime shipping. Of the two, I liked the Omoton more on first sight. While the ACcase is now usable, I was disappointed in the warping when received and the failure to at least acknowledge my email. The Omoton will be my everyday case with the ACcase as a backup. Total cost of the two cases including shipping was $25, which is well below the BestBuy price for the Amazon Origami case at $40. The Omoton case is coming via a freind from Amazon US so I hope that's okay and the ACCover case is coming from Amazon UK so I'd send that back if it's not right. The Fintie case is coming from ebay as it was cheaper and quicker than buying it from Amazon UK.
