Interesting article on the condition of tea workers in India. I am glad that the teas that I buy do not come from there. That is not to say that the conditions in China are great but I am assuming that tea farmers in Japan have it better.

Yes, I saw the article. The article appears to be limited to the Assam region, but one suspects other regions have issues too. Assam is a big deal for English tea drinkers, obviously, since it's a major component of most English Breakfast teas. (And Yorkshire tea, etc.)

BTW, if you like grassy, try increasing the temperature on your China Greens. Even 10F can make a significant difference.

An Oolong, forgetting which one since I loaded it into the basket last night. Weak, I finished off a bag and should have added a scoop from the fresh order.

Peet's Major Dickason's Blend coffee. It's going to be a coffee morning, though I'm not sure even that will cover for insufficient hours in the sack.

Sun, and warming up quite nicely. Big fog/cloud bank sitting over the Harbour, but it'll recede soon. They're saying we're in for another week at least of summer. But probably not long enough to get the roof done.

Finished the Major Dickason's -- time for a pot of Peet's English Breakfast.
