Daughter filling her time before leaving for school on Friday, with BFF coming over for dinner. Son filling his time before going back to school next week. Me going to the store much more frequently, making sure son and daughter don't run out of food.

And now, a 3rd mug of tea. And not a moment too soon.

Oolong: Wuyi Shan Red Cape this time. A very nice Oolong. Loving eating foods fresh from the garden and farm. We are starting to experiment with fermenting food.

We are using this method. We have a huge thing of cherry pepper mash and a Hot Italian Giardiniera. We also pickled a ton of Hot Italian Giardiniera. This year we have tons of carrots, onions, broccoli, sweet peppers, hot peppers, tomatoes and cauliflower. This weekend we are going to make some home made tomato paste and tomato sauce.

Yumm! Wish I had the space and/or time. All I've managed this year is a single raised bed, and the tomato plants have overtaken it. In a good way, of course.

I'd been waiting all day for UPS to bring the new tea I ordered. Naturally, as soon as I caved and made a pot, he showed up with my Hibiscus Ginger. Alas, there's always tomorrow.

Yes, that's how I get the <doctor | insert term here> to finally show up in the <exam room | insert your choice> -- by pulling out my reading material. Or in your case, by making a pot of the *other* tea! Works every time.
