Thanks to all who offered sympathy. The day did get better - I found information on two collector dolls that I had been searching for for literally years.

Wondering if I'm part vampire. I've been outside today for about 90 minutes today, not in one go but in 7 different outings, and I've managed to slightly sunburn my arms and probably my face.

I never tan, I just go red then my skin starts peeling and after that my skin's as white as it was before except for a couple of more freckles. In other words, on next week's shopping list: sun screen lotion SPF very high.

Melora just called. They're on the train. NOW I am getting excited!! I can't wait to see both of them. For those not keeping score at home, this is the first time I will get to lay a hand on my granddaughter. It's also the first time I've seen my daughter in about three years.

Not exactly - but it's short shifts and limited hours. My Customer Service Manager has been really good about this - she was also really good when I took time off because I was so upset when Toryn had the health issues when she was born. It doesn't hurt that we actually have enough people right now who want more hours.

I went to the grocery store and stocked up on what Melora said she wanted to eat, and some baby essentials. Then I came home and made a few of the things Melora said she wanted to eat that need to sit (my ranch dressing and spring salad). Picked up our meat department's specialty - marinated boneless pork chops - to have tomorrow night, with fresh corn on the cob. I think I'm as ready as I'm going to get... now just to keep myself from going crazy until we actually go get them!

Yes, and yes. She called when they boarded and got settled. I don't think I'll hear from her again til in the morning sometime. I almost called her, though, a bit ago with some question about the groceries that I don't even remember now, LOL. She said that she had an empty seat next to her, so she's able to lay the baby down, and she sounded relieved about that, which I don't blame her.
