Yea! I just finished pouring the last clock of concrete for my walkway to the pool. It took 20½ 60 lb. bags of concrete for the whole walk, all mixed using a hoe. Now I need to rent a grinder so I can make the surface more bare-feet friendly. I'll probably wait until next payday to do that, because the real estate taxes are due this week.

I'm deciding which word processing program to buy for my Macbook Pro: Pages, Scrivener, Mellel or Word. I've currently got Mellel and Scrivener downloaded as trial runs. I've got Pages on my iPad, and I'm kind of tempted to buy a copy for my laptop, for easier synching with my iPad. Any advice is welcome!

My parents believed in education. Almost any education. If there was something I expressed interest in learning, they immediately offered to provide professional lessons. hmmm. Though the idea of irritating my parents sounds terribly awesome, I myself don't like bagpipes. I'd prefer drums or violin or electric guitar... Gee the worst thing is I don't know how to play any instrument!
