That "baby" kitty at one point had her front feet flat on the floor while her entire back end was flat on the sofa. She's long! And just turned 6-months-old!

Well ... we think she's ragdoll, with possibly some Maine coon cat in her. And who knows what else. I just know that cat can pack away a lot of kitten chow!

We are tentatively house hunting again. Yesterday, we found out why the condo we want was so cheap and on the market so long. The owner should be in debtor's prison! Two pages of liens and open permits that they want the buyer to assume? Court fines against the owner for violations in the amount of $250 per day since 2009? Our realtor is studying the documents to see if we can be held accountable if we buy. I say it is not worth the hassle because there are lots of condos in Ft Lauderdale.

Installing the latest Sims 3 expansion pack it's updating the game now, which is taking a long time (of course just as I'm typing this the updating is done and it's installing now).

I'm also trying to decide what to eat on Friday. From tomorrow morning until Sunday afternoon I'm house/dog/cat sitting. Tomorrow my sister is coming over so we'll get take out and I'm baking brownies, on Saturday I'll make soup. For Friday I want to make something simple that doesn't dirty too many dishes.

Sort of .... Stella lies on the desk next to the laptop ... stretches out and "accidentally" drops a paw or two onto the keyboard. When this is brought to my attention, I say it's not the kitten's fault -- the desk is too small (then Stella & I run away for awhile!)

Lordy! Don't get suckered into paying the lawyers, etc. Find another place. In most states, buyers of properties are responsible for taxes/fines, etc. that are in place - even if they didn't know about them when they signed the contract.

they will continue as a cloud on the title and if you ever try to sell it they will have to be cleared before the next person can take clear title. this is one of those properties where it is best to let it go to the bank and let them try to sort it out. don't TOUCH anything like that!

We spent the morning driving around writing down realtors' phone numbers off signs. I googled prices, then sent the viable one to our realtor. Now waitong to hear back.

It's a bit cool today and I'm watching a bird (I really need to get a bird book) take a bath in the pond. (Now, if I can just get it to stop dropping walnuts in my yard and pond, I just may like the little thing much better.)
