Hoping like heck it doesn't rain before tomorrow night. I just finished framing the hole I dug for a walkway to the pool and if it doesn't rain between now and when I get off work tomorrow morning, I hope to pour the first section of concrete.

Bandaid off and daughter plus new grandbaby will be visiting soon! I hope she finds the train trip to be comfortable traveling. Looking forward to the pics!

Tomorrow I get to paint my pool. If it doesn't farking rain all day. this is the most prolonged cold spring i think I've ever seen. It's nasty even by IceBox standards.

I"m glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I told Melora (who is sweating it out in Texas at the moment) what our temps were today and she promptly asked if she should bring a coat! I told her I thought a light jacket would do it, LOL.

Have fun! I just emptied my pond, climbed down, scrubbed the sides, and refilled it. Twice a year, when I have to do this, I have fantasies about just bringing in a bull dozer, filling it with dirt, then covering it with rock. I hate all the maintenance.
