Good morning, everyone! Another Thai holiday done and gone. Only 36 more to go. Thailand has more holidays than ANY other country. These folks DO know how to party! The majority of these holidays are religious in nature, and Buddhist monks get a LOT of respect here. All Thai males are expected to spend time, usually one year, as a monk. However, they are NOT expected to wear white shirts, black pants, and ride bicycles.

East India Company's "Royal Break" tea in my cup this morning. It never fails to please! I've noticed that I've been drinking a lot more 'hot' tea this year. It's been my custom to drink hot tea for breakfast, then ice tea during the rest of the day. But for some reason, this year I've been drinking hot tea, and lots more of it, all day and night. I wonder why?

Talisker Storm. It's been "one of those days", and I need to unwind a bit before bed. And what better way to do it? Talisker is the perfect balance between mild "dinner Scotch" (Highland Park, Glenmorangie, Balviene) and serious sipping Scotch (Lagavulin, Laphroaig).
