On the way to other things (Penguin/Random House titles), I noticed an omnibus of the first three ??? titles in the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini on sale for £5.49 at Kindle UK. That's a pretty good price if you need all three.

Thanks for that. I've picked up a number of Poul Anderson's books during Open Road's big freebie event a while back (and some on sale later). So far I've only read Brain Wave, but I really enjoyed it.

For Humble Bundles in general I've yet to buy any that were fiction. But I did buy one that was a bunch of Python books. Programming books cost a lot more than fiction so it was a steal.

The $1 level is almost pure gold--The Best of Bova by Ben Bova alone makes the $1 level worth getting.

Many of them are excellent, but many are also available in the Baen Free Library

I have too many of them already, and too many unread books, to get it myself.
