Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy New Year, one and all!

Good morning, everyone! It's a great start for the Year of the Sheep (ram? goat?) Lot's of feminine energy, good creative powers flowing, and a year of moderation. Well, moderation in most things, anyway. Not in tea. I find that I've been drinking 4-5 liters of tea a day lately, up from my usual 3-4 liters. They're putting my name over the toilet in my usual lunch restaurant... Tea this morning is unbranded Keemun. I figure my best tea should start off the new year. Maybe something special from the Food Lady too. Hmmmmm...... Happy New Year!

Good morning, everyone! It's going to be another Battle Royale at the Chiang Mai Fencing Club today! I'm ready! I'm already on my second mug of East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea, put away four eggs, left-over Cajun chicken, and cold pasta, and I'm raring to go! Visiting club from 150k away coming to join us today for some team competition. It won't be us against them, though. We'll draw lots for team placement so there will be a better mix for each side. Looks as if it's going to be a really good day!

Good morning, everyone! And a pleasant Sunday to you all. Today marks the event in 1819 when by the Adams–Onís Treaty, Spain sold Florida to the United States for five million U.S. dollars. Some folks think they should take it back. Other folks think they already have...

It should be a very enjoyable day regardless. Sun's up, and we'll take a motorcycle ride for a few hours through the mountains around Chiang Mai, stopping for lunch where ever our wanderings take us. Then this evening a BBQ/Hootenanny with some friends... Nice day! And in keeping with nice, I've got a big mug of East India Company's "Assam" tea in front of me, just waiting for my wife to shut of 'Skype' so we can eat breakfast and get on our way!
