Well, we've turned the corner, but it's still a LONG way back. Still drinking water and naught else. Later this afternoon, I'll start on yogurt and maybe some white rice. Along with more water.

Yeah, something got my stage 3 colon cancer family member over night. Explosive diarrhea enters an entirely new realm when dealing with someone with an ostomy bag. I'm considering cling wrap, or maybe an inflatable mattress and telling him to sleep in the bathroom

Yogurt has its good points, but sometimes any dairy is tough on a recovering digestive system. Feel better!

Blue(!!) Gatorade. Weird, but not absolutely toxic. And the electrolytes are seriously needed. The yogurt was tolerated, the rice was nice, and I'm finally starting to feel almost human.

All the drug stores here sell little packets of electrolyte power that you can mix into any juice or water. You can get buy it as different flavors if you want. Really cheap here... About 15 cents for a packet. I can't deal with Gatorade myself, but the flavored packets added to water go down easily. Certainly more easily than Blue Death! When added to Sick Bay alcohol back in my Medic days, it made a pretty healthy way to get drunk!

It's back to Barley drink for me. It tastes like grass, but I mix it with milk so it tastes better. I haven't heard of a Barley shake but I guess I would like to try doing that at some point.

Good morning, everyone! It's the first Tuesday of February. I think that's significant... of something. I guess it will never happen again this year, anyway. So to celebrate, I'm drinking unbranded Keemun tea this morning, and getting ready for a day of the 'Three R's,' reading, riding, and rhythm. Should be nice!
