That's a superb book, Bob, as is *World Without End*. Both present Follett at his very best. And you're doing the right thing by reading *Pillars of the Earth* first, I think. Although the novels are stand-alone, there is come continuity. Happy reading. Neil

I agree with Neil - 'Pillars of the Earth' is an excellent read.

It's a long book, but very easy to get in to.

Just finished reading *Bottom of the list* by Steve Attridge.

An amusing and at times hilarious read based around the life and characters at a fictitious university.

If you like the books by Tom Sharpe you will enjoy this.

I'm trying so hard to finish The Templar Legacy..but OMG.. Steve Berry couldn't write with excitement if he was in Hooters!! about 3/4 of the way there.

Finished it! It's not horrible, it's just pretty slow...definitely wouldn't describe it as a page turner! But hey, it was free

Hey Bob I didn't notice the price on this when you posted it.....but just noticed it on Amazon and snagged it myself. Got to finish Twisted River first but then maybe.

What are you thinking of it?

Barely past the first 10 pages or so.

Just finished Kindred in Death by J.D. Robb. The first two hundred pages or so were amazing, best book in the series, some great character development etc. Then it started dragging, and I was not completely happy with the ending

Not sure what I'll read next. I am trying to clear some space on my reader so I may head into my backlog of magazines and try to knock some shorter titles off the reader that way
