![]() I need you, oh my darling, like roses need rain. You ask how long I'll love you; I'll tell you true: Until the twelfth of never, I'll still be loving you. Hold me close, never let me go. Hold me close, melt my heart like April snow. I'll love you till the bluebells forget to bloom; I'll love you till the clover has lost its perfume. I'll love you till the poets run out of rhyme, Until the twelfth of never and that's a long, long time. ![]() ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GTuWBous1Q ) Good morning, everyone! What a perfect morning! It's as if God is trying for some sort of record! Three cheers for God! For he's (she's?) a jolly good fellow! I've got a brand new Oolong tea in my cup this morning too. Yesterday I discovered a new Hmong village up in the hills, and they were selling their own home-made Oolong, so I bought a bag. Pretty tasty stuff. Thai Oolong tea tends to taste a bit smokey. "Most tea bushes emerge from the ground as a cluster of branches; however, the uncommon dan cong variety emerges as a single trunk that branches off higher up the stem. Also, some tea plants are found in the form of a long, dark green vine that wraps itself around guava trees. This type of Oolong is extremely rare, and is grown exclusively in Thailand." A very different taste than the typical Chinese Oolong tea. Stitchawl |

I've tried Oolong tea and I liked it too, Stitchawl (haven't tried to have the Thai Oolong experience though) I hope to visit your country someday. I really love the Bangkok Floating Market and I've always wanted to see it for myself.

Btw I'm having coffee.. with lots of creamer and sugar for the usual sweet tooth. There's still too much things to do and there's just so little time. It is true when they say that deadlines may be the best motivators. Haha.

Afternoon mug of Ahmad's "English Breakfast" tea

Funny thing about the Bangkok Floating Market... It's actually not in Bangkok. Well, there IS a Floating Market IN Bangkok, but it's not the famous one, and really quite nothing. The famous one is about an hour outside of Bangkok and is really something to see. I've spent a lot of time photographing it for magazines, and always enjoy myself when I'm there. While it's a real tourist trap, it's also an important fruit and vegetable market for the people who live in the canals, jam packed with boats selling this and that! Stitchawl |

My nightly cup of sleepy soy milk Ovaltine. Might be a wasted effort, as my toddler is teething.
Wishing I had some of that Thai oolong to try! |

That soy milk ovaltine sounds lovely though, pegasi&prefects.
![]() @Stitchawl, I wasn't aware of that! (obviously, but thank you for the info, because at least now I know there are more gems outside the capital). Is it the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market or the Taling Chan Floating Market (or neither?) |

Damnoen Saduak is Bangkok's best known floating market but it is also the most touristy one... It's my favorite. These days, most of the sales there are for tourists, but it really is the most interesting one. About 100k outside of the city. The Taling floating market is only 12 km from downtown Bangkok, is open all day and has just enough boats to be called a floating market. There is another small floating market right next to Taling called Khlong Lat Mayom, and you can combine the two for a bigger experience as there is a dry land market between the two to explore. There is also the Amphawa Floating Market, and this one is much less touristy than Damnoen Saduak, and still a very large active market. It's about 90k south-west of the city, and it's one that I recommend to friends who refuse to go to 'touristy' places. (Don't know why... after all, they ARE tourists!) Stitchawl |

Woke up way too early, probably due to dry air. Having a tall mug of ginger tea to relax before going back to bed for a bit.

![]() Rest assured this troubadour is acting on his part The union of your spirits here has caused him to remain For whenever two or more of you are gathered in his name There is love There is love Well a man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home They shall travel on to where the two shall be as one As it was in the beginning, is now until the end Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again And there is love There is love Well then what's to be reason for becoming man and wife Is it love that brings you here, or love that brings you life For if loving is the answer, then who's the giving for? Do you believe in something that you've never seen before? Oh, there's love Oh there's love ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZbhrO4IEtI ) Good morning, everyone! No, no one's getting married. I just love the song, and when I woke up today it was going around my brain as I lifted my head from the pillow and saw the sun rise. Nice... Now I've got a big mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea beside me, and an entire day ahead of me. My wife will be busy playing table tennis with her club, so perhaps I'll just have to take a ride in the mountains! I don't mind at all! Stitchawl |

Good morning, all. A bright and mostly sunny day here in Paradise, so a mug of Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea seems a good way to get things rolling. I've got a horrible chapter to tech review today, so it won't be exactly a fun day, but at least the sun is out and the tea is good.

Finally sitting down to my first mug of tea. Although, I did have two cups of coffee earlier, on the road.
