Finishing off a mug of Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea. Probably switching to cranberry juice for the rest of the day.

![]() Stood Running Bear Young Indian brave On the other side of the river Stood his lovely Indian maid Little White Dove was her name Such a lovely sight to see But their tribes fought with each other So their love could never be He couldn't swim the raging river 'Cause the river was too wide He couldn't reach the Little White Dove Waiting on the other side In the moonlight he could see her Throwing kisses 'cross the waves Her little heart was beating faster Waiting for her Indian brave Running Bear loved Little White Dove With a love big as the sky Running Bear loved Little White Dove With a love that couldn't die ![]() ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI4HYVIvuJE ) Good morning, everyone! One of the great old love songs from long, long ago... Makes my heart go pitter-patter every time I hear it. Today the doctors probably call that 'Cardiac Arrhythmia.' Doctors are simply not romantic. Anyway, the rosy fingers of dawn have just grabbed the horizon (Homer really knew how to turn a phrase, didn't he?) and I have a big mug of Taylors of Harrogate's 'Yorkshire' tea to start my day. I'm in a pretty good mood today as I think my cold has finally run its course. Damn thing has lasted almost three weeks, going through a box of tissues a day. Half a dozen folks I know are going through the same thing so I guess this is the latest evolution of the Rhinovirus to make the rounds. What ever happened to the 7-day Common Cold? KK... what was your question about Taiwan? Stitchawl |

Thanks for sharing Stitchawl, and yes, doctors are simply not romantic, but from personal experience, some of them could be. Hahaha. Colds are the worst, luckily, I think I have feelers whenever it does a foreshadowing sequence straight from the medical books so I drink lots of water and a prophylactic drug as early as I can.

In line with the thread, *in a small voice* I'm actually not drinking anything yet, although I am brewing stash premium tea until I run out of it. I just bought a new china teapot set and I'm making a lot of (valid) excuses to use it as much as I can.

Secondly, just what good would complaining about a cold do? Other than make me pay more attention to it than it deserves? Quote:

Late afternoon mug of unbranded Keemun tea. Sooo nice!

Bland goodness of water in my cup.[/QUOTE] Wanna try an interesting experiment? Try having a cup of water prepared for tea, but without the tea! Just the boiled hot water. A colleague of my at school used to drink this all the time, and we laughed at her when we saw her doing it. All she would say was 'try it...' Of course we didn't for a very long time, but one day we ran out of tea... and tried it. And was VERY, VERY surprised at how nice it was! Try it! Stitchawl |

Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea. I'm nearly out of this, and will miss it dearly. No more to be had until April, and who knows what this year's blend will be like?

Second mug of tea. Yesterday was reasonably productive -- let's see about today.
