WTF?!? It hasn't rained a day in almost three months, and we had a storm last night that blew out all the electricity over 2/3 of the city! Wow!

Good morning, everyone! 7am over a wet and dreary Friday! A good morning that that Lapsang Souchong I set aside for just this day. It came 36 hours later than expected but the rains surely did arrive. I'm doing my cubit conversion tables just to be on the safe side...

Welcome pegasi&prefects. This is a friendly little corner of MR you've stumbled into, and we're always glad to welcome a new tea drinker. (We also accept non-tea drinkers, of course. If only to convert them. )

Good question, Stitchawl. I haven't seen her anywhere on MR lately. Maybe she's taking a break over the holidays? But time to come back and tell us how LG is doing!

Drinking cranberry juice this afternoon as I work on getting my hardware and software environments set up for the next book. What a pain!

Good morning, everyone. The unusual rain has left the valley, leaving some remarkable clouds behind. But I've switched away from the Lapsang Souchong tea to a more suitable East India Company's "Assam" for my morning brew. Between the three days of rain, and a heavy cold, I've been drinking 4-5 liters of tea every day, and I'm thinking of placing my name over the door to the bathroom... You only get to 'borrow' tea... You never get to keep it.
