Has anyone in the UK seen any sign on their K3 shipping? - Page 20

I'm a bit irritated at the continued lack of date for my Kindle. I'm guessing it'll be around the 23rd. They must have a pretty good idea of when they're getting stock in and how many orders they expect to fill.

As I only ordered on 9th Sept, I'm guessing it will be second week in October.

Just on a side note, I hope that quality control will not take a back seat - with Amazon's factories rushing to meet the huge demand!

Gotten a delivery estimate from Amazon at long last. 29th September a month after ordering.

I got an email from Amazon today as well: dispatch by 29th September. I ordered it on 6th September.

My Kindle is *finally* being prepared for despatch, having ordered on 23rd August. Amazon expect to send it on Monday (better than the 23rd September they originally quoted in the email on Tuesday) so I should have it by the middle of next week.

Ordered on 9th Sept, just got an email saying it will be dispatched on 29th Sept. So I guess I will receive it some time in the first week of October.

Gosh, for Australian orders we only get an email on the day it gets shipped. None of this 'we are sending your kindle in 2 weeks time' stuff. I guess at least you know. You guys are doing it much tougher than everyone else - it is now next day delivery for US people, and maybe 10 days for Australians. They both come from the USA so not sure why US people get shipping immediately, while we wait 10 days for it to start to ship.

HI Guys, it seems Amazon sent a lot of emails out yesterday - I ordered mine on the 5th Sept and got an email yesterday saying it will dispatch before the 29th Sept. Oh well, just have to keep waiting....sigh

I ordered a 3G Kindle on the 10th Sept and haven't had any info or email yet. I rang Kindle Support and they couldn't tell me anything.

I ordered my 3G on the 24th August and it just went to despatching soon at around 12.30 am this morning, so basically through the night, they are quoting me a delivery estimate of the 20th of September. Lot better than the estimate for despatch on or before the 23rd which I received Tuesday afternoon.

Got home tonight from work to find I'm in exactly the same position (also ordered 24th). Not often I say this, but really looking forward to Monday!

Mine's turned up. Very happy. Can't believe how clear the screen is compared to my Sony PRS-600.

Just got an update: was dispatch by 29th Sep, now dispatching soon with 1st class delivery by 23rd Sep :-)
