Damit würde Apple dann ja wohl alle Early Adopters bestrafen, denn jedes größere Update (sprich von OS 3 auf 4) soll ja für alle iPad-Kunden kostenpflichtig sein.

Man kann sicher davon ausgehen, dass es für das iPhone kostenpflichtig ist. Ich denke allerdings, ein Update für das iPad wird kostenlos oder sehr preiswert sein.

Für OS 4 scheint's dann noch kostenlos zu sein. Für OS 5 wohl nicht mehr. Siehe hierzu auch die Meldung auf Golem.

Übrigens kann man das iPad bei T-Mobile bereits unverbindlich vorbestellen bzw. sich auf eine Interessentenliste eintragen lassen.

Dort hat man zwar keine Ahnung, wann es erscheint, wie teuer es wird, welche Preismodelle man anbieten wird und was wiederum die kosten sollen - aber eintragen kann man sich lassen.

Immerhin rechnet man dort mit 200.000 Interessenten auf offenbar 100.000 georderte Geräte (letztens mit dem Kundencenter etwas geplauscht).

Das iPad kommt in Deutschland jetzt erst Ende Mai raus. Vorbestellen kann man ab dem 10. Mai, da werden dann wohl auch die Preise bekanntgegeben.
Ich glaube ich lasse mir jetzt eins aus den USA mitbringen, sobald es dort die 3G Variante gibt.

Na da habe ich ja alles richtig gemacht. Ich habe auf 3G verzichtet, da ich ein HUAWEI E5832 nutze.

Das iPad 3G hat zusätzlich aber auch noch GPS integriert (keine Ahnung ob man das wirklich braucht ).

Genau UMTS (SIM-Karte) rein, W-Lan raus. Einfach genial. Auch für mehrere Geräte gleichzeitig. Unter HUAWEI E5830 findest du sicher mehr Informationen. Die Beiden sind baugleich. Werde ich natürlich auch zum nächsten Treffen mitbringen. W-Lan kann kann dann mit Bier abgegolten werden.

Das finde ich ja mal eine interessante Idee.. eine Lösung, um eine günstige UMTS-Flatrate auch mit einer günstige-Gespräche-Handy-Flat zu kombinieren.. wobei man da natürlich wieder die Anschaffungskosten mit reinrechnen müsste

Das ist ja mal eine praktische Sache Sehr interessante Idee...kannte ich bisher noch nicht. Auch preislich bin ich überrascht. Bei Amazon.de habe ich als billigstes Gerät der Klasse eines für 105 € gefunden - bei Amazon.co.uk dafür schon eins für umgerechnet 56 €

Ach immer diese Gadgets, da weiß man doch nie, wofür man jetzt gerade seine Kröten verpulvern soll. Naja...Nexus One, iPad whatever...als erstes mal lieber wieder schön in Urlaub fahren
