I would like to enter this contest and also win a new shiny Kindle 2.

My main reason for winnning the new ereader is "Just because I want the new Kindle 2", as I have maxed out the memory on my Kindle 1, and want to stick even more books on my Kindle to carry around."

I will give my Kindle 1 to my sister to keep her happy and quiet in the corner. Always willing to share.

Thanks and let me know when to expect my new Kindle 2.

This give-away should be mine since my Sony Reader PRS-500 has been taken away by my gf and has been filled with the likes of Twilight and such. It's just not the same when I turn it on to read my Wheel of Time series and I see Tween porn on the screen. I can't even touch the thing anymore

. I'd like the Kindle 2 and I'll value it. Only well-formatted AMAZING books will be allowed on it and I shall cherish it like it has never been cherished before!

I'd like to enter this contest... Would be happy with a PRS-700 or any of the Hanlin V3 variants.

Why?

1) I've been trying to convince my better half that eBook Readers are the best! (This one will be hers).

2) I want her to enjoy the sweet feeling of carrying many many books in a small package...

3) It would be rhaatid nice to win something!

I used to spend a lot of time traveling and enjoyed the convenience of having so many books around me while traveling. I've since stopped traveling, but still read like a mad man.

I've gone from an old ebookwise 1150 reader that I'd read above my head in bed until I dozed and dropped it onto my nose (still a fond memory), and a Sony PRS-500 and been happy to sit on that one for a while now.

Alas, like many good things, age and wear have taken their toll on my 500 and the screen is starting to bleed from one side, covering letters at times and making some books require a bit of guess work.

Of course, like many things, I don't need a PRS-700, but I would like to be able to take a nice new reader filled with books over to the park and sit and read.

I want to enter this giveaway to help saving the world.
I'm a student that prints out like 300 pages per week in papers that I should read for my research...you know, advisor that says that at least 5 papers a day is a must...
That means that I'm cutting a tree every couple of months...and I just feel terrible.
So let me help saving the trees in the world by giving me an ebook reader!!!!

[now I have to find an online store for the PRS700 in Korea ^^]

I would like to enter this giveaway to be able to give my husband a Sony Reader PRS-505. He's an avid reader who has been living with brain cancer for two years now. We've replace all CRTs with LCDs to help prevent seizures, but he still can only watch small amounts of TV and has a hard time getting through movies or spending too much time online. We've bought him 3 iPods during his time (to help him entertain himself with audio books and music (the iPods keep breaking). As he's regained strength he's reading more and more. He has a hard time with the lighting in stores (and flashing sale displays!), so it makes it difficult to shop for paper books (yay to online shopping!) We spend a lot of time hanging around hospitals and I'd love to be able to give him an ebook reader if only for the fact that it's much more hygienic than bringing paper books back home from the hospital! Really we need two of them (we have no more storage space for books), but I'd be happy to have one for him while we save up for one for me!

Why should you pick me?

I reserved a Sony PRS 505 at my local Argos store yesterday for £169.99 but when i went for it today the price had increased to £224.99. I was shocked!!! They would not let me have it for the reserved price - quotes T & C'S
I am very disappointed i have been wanting an E-Book Reader for ages and thought i was getting one at a bargain price.
I will keep looking - i will not be defeated - 40 weeks to my holiday - Is this enough time to save more pennies?
