My Glo HD suddenly stopped working: stuck on a book cover, and no buttons work at all. There is no visible damage to the screen, so I hope that reimaging the SD card could help. Would you be able to send me the image? Thanks!

I've formatted the SD card of my Kobo Glo HD for error while i was trying to resolve a problem with it (Kobo was freezed and did not start).
Can someone send me an SD card image to try to restore my device?

Hello,

i found this thread while searching for a solution to fix my wife´s Kobo GloHD.

Display just shows Updating.... for 2 weeks now No Hardreset possible.
Only reaction is the red LED that turns on or off by holding the powerbutton.
Now my last chance would be that SD Image with a new SD card. Could somebody please send me that link to the image for the GloHD?

Before you do anything, make sure you charge it and try a factory reset.

Hi Davidfor,

thank you for helping me out! It works like a charm I really tried everything, but that GloHD did not react to nothing. Just red LED could be turned on and off. The original 4Gig SD card is broken and could not be backupped. Flashed the Image to a new 4 gig and inserted it. Now it boots up again. Did Updates and now putting her stuff on there again.

Hi Davidfor, would you be able to send me a link to the image of the Kobo Glo HD?

Tried the power button + bottom corner screen tap without success (screen flickers twice but no display)

I took the SD card out and it seems to have died yesterday as it is not even recognized by my computer (not recognized & no prompts to format).

Will take this "opportunity" to upgrade storage capacity!
