There is a disturbing trend on Abusive Male Leads(I refuse to call them heroes) in these so called Romance books. It started with 50 Shades and it continues to get even worse.

I read that Rush by Maya Banks follows the same sort of theme, so even though I generally like her, I don't believe I'll be reading that series.
