Sony says 10,000 continuous page turns or up to 2 weeks, whichever comes first. Since fully charged, I have read about 2,000 pages for 4 days and my battery meter just reduced by one. Since the infrared touch screen has been on whenever I was using, I'd assume I could probably use my PRS-650 for about 10 to 14 days before recharging, which I'd say more than sufficient power I needed.

Same here. At the moment, I use the landscape mode on my 650 and, as I tend to hold it with both hands, my left thumb is perfectly positioned over the Next Page button. I guess I too am used to buttons from my 505!

My fingers don't seem to leave any marks on the screen but I have already had to clean my son's fingerprints off. I do agree that on a mat screen they are not that visible though.
