As for a cover, I'd rather buy my own (Oberon K2 size, though costly, are very nice!).
I assume what jackinka means is something like this link:
http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Replace...5701584&sr=1-1

Basically you plug the end of the USB cable into a small adapter that then plugs into the wall socket. The convenience is that the USB cable becomes multi-functional with the adapter. You no longer need the separate bulky wall charger.

It looks like Sony has incorporated this feature based on this charger product description on their US website.

I hope it is in the box as an included accessory and not something extra to purchase like the cover. I don't mind so much when manufacturers don't include covers. I find it more difficult to accept when they expect you to purchase your own cables.

It doesn't sound like the 950 comes with any cover - Abt now has listings for the standard cover, and the lighted cover, just like the 350 and 650. The goods news is, Sony is using the same pricing as they did for the 350/650 cases, not hiking it for the 950.

950 standard cover at Abt
950 lighted cover at Abt

I hope those are the dimensions for the box!

Thanks for the update! I hope they offer more colors than just black. I would really like a red version.

According to Sony Style...

The Reader Daily Edition™ is available in silver
So I think ABT may be incorrect about the 950 being in black.
