I've had absolutely no problems from my new K3. Haven't had any hiccups of any kind. I've banged on it for the last 3 weeks and it works perfectly.

I was worried about the reported problems before my K3 arrived.

I've had it for a week - transferred over 100 books on it from my Sony - allowed it to index overnight, updated the firmware when it was available and have not had a single problem at any stage.

It doesn't rattle, it hasn't fallen apart and it hasn't caused me to get arrested for unlawful wifi access.

It does do a rather good job of allowing me to read e-books.

Well, as one of those persons with the problems, who Amazon isn't helping, or even acknowledging, other than just giving me a copy and pasted reply that says to call customer service, I would say cancel your order.

And let me add, my problems with it (not being able to read outside any more) didn't show up for 2 weeks. So don't get cocky, though of you that don't have them. You just might not have them yet.

I'm assuming (yea, I know) that you are within the 30 day warranty, why don't you just return it and get something else? That way you can be happy again. No one is getting cocky, a comment was made that someone has not heard of anyone without significant problems (is that a triple negative? ) and others are chiming in saying that they aren't having any significant problems.

Let me be one more in the - working fine for me, no problems!
