Database integrity check doesn't move above 0% AFAIK until it finishes. Then it either gives you an error message or exits without message which I have assumed means it passed?
The newer database check for potential problems is very fast but don't know if it would help. I would try installing an earlier version and see if that works or going to a backup with the version you are using now and see if that works. On one occasion when my database integrity failed, I moved the library (using calibre)and it passed but no idea why. |

Thanks for the answers. I have eventually given it up on the library and re-created a new one from the library source files of the old one. Thanks to the new library dumping feature to OPF files (which I had applied before my old database got corrupted somehow!), I could do this without any loss of data. The new library works properly.
