Heh - if you get a copy of sex vampires on meth, I'll take it

Most of the stuff is sci-fi / fantasy. Examples include the following right now.
1. Brandon Sanderson trilogy
2. Crystal Rain
3. Alastair Reynolds - Revelation Space
4. Ian McDonald - The Dervish House
5. Paolo Bacigalupi - The Windup Girl
6. Justina Robson - book 3 from Quantum gravity

Edit to add
Boneshaker - Cherie Priest

I see. Hmmm.... OK, my own hail Mmary, last try move is to go to the author's website and see what is available. The author might have a txt or rtf version that can be converted to work on your Sony. Good luck!

I agree, Amazon.com seems like have the best selection in ebook. Also, I like browsing around in amazon site. It's easier, and customer reviews is a very valuable recommendation for me. B & N site is ok, but amazon is better IMO. And I don't even consider about sony ebookstore, it just not worth it.

Converting to epub is no problem at all (of course after you strip the drm). In my experience converting about 30 ebook bought from Amazon, all of them retain the original formatting.

Just want to make sure you're also aware of Baen? (also, their webscriptions here) Far as I know they do not have geographical restrictions, and they do not have drm. That's where I bought Wind-Up Girl.

Hmmm... how much does that job pay?

Wind-Up Girl I knew about because I also purchased it. For Mistborn, I did a search at http://ebooks.addall.com/ (under "show more options" you can limit the filetypes)

Going Under is available at Amazon.com and B&N but the ebook price is $9.59

Less expensive to buy the paperback at WHSmith and Amazon UK.

Sheesh! I was kidding, the job doesn't pay at all! You didn't have to do all of that work!

I kid, that's really kind of you - thank you so much. That'll get me through my next vacation with a bit of luck, and saves me hacking on Amazon gift cards and DRM.

EDIT: I meant to mention earlier, this was just a selection of books that I want to read from wandering around Foyles the other night. I think I actually have a copy of Crystal Rain supplied by the author in a fit of generosity.

Hmm - Kobo won't sell me boneshaker

''Unfortunately, this content is only available in select countries, and we do not currently have the rights to offer this content for browsing or purchasing in United Kingdom"

Regional locks annoy me. I think I'm just going to sell the PRS and go back to reading paperbacks and take them to the local charity shop when I'm done with them
