Bought it about 2 weeks ago. What kind of error do you get?
Btw, downloading the free ebooks works now.

That's probably not useful at all, but that's what I get. I've tried multiple times.

Oh, wait a second, I still got the error this last time, but I see that the book is in fact in my downloads. Whoops. Well! Problem solved, maybe!

Well, bother, I ran it through Calibre and converted it to mobi, and when I bring it up in Kindle for PC all the 한글 is just squares. Any chance it will still work on a Kindle?

How does it look in Calibre's Viewer? Do you have Hangul fonts installed? I have downloaded Japanese books to my Kindle and they display correct.

Ah ha! Yes, it does look okay in Calibre's viewer. So I guess that means it's a Kindle for PC problem. (Yay!)

Yes, I don't think that K4PC has been updated yet to full compatibility with K3.

Is K3 supposed to support CJK text out of the box?
I just got even more excited about my "shipping soon" K3.

The Kindle 3 product page used to say "Our Kindle 3 (Latest Generation) also supports Cyrillic (such as Russian), Japanese, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), and Korean characters in addition to Latin and Greek scripts. " For some reason they took that part out of the description.

So, I haven't quite pushed the button on the Kindle yet... I like everything about it except for that horrible Korean font. Is there anything else I should look at, that would be good for reading Korean too?

Anyone got the dictionary look-up work with Korean-->English?

I've tried some of the availale dicitonarys on amazon, but they don't integrate into the dictionary feature as it seems..

No one? I'm still looking for an e-ink reader which has a fast Korean --> English dictionary-lookup, anyone have experience with this?

The population is too few for Amazon to consider and pay costs for this. Amazon is for money, not for people.
