It seems that time would solve this question - naturally we can see it while waiting for some time. I guess they'll show up on retail market sooner or later if they're actually being distributed now.

I found out that DR1000S is still on sale on chinese site!! I spent much time searching it on the web;;

Anyway, is it possible although it was discontinued earlier?

I'm pretty sure you could get a new DR1000S from local European vendors.

I tried contacting some companies there to get more information and got a few responses. They say they're selling them and I can buy right now, of course. Even one of them says to sell one item at $630, taking about 7 shipping days with EMS, but never accept paypal, but Wesern Union or TT bank transfer, which I know are risky payment methods. And finally I'm about to give up buying a new one - but it's not easy to buy an old one, even here, in Asia.
I searched some articles but after IRX begins on 1st September, some more information can we get about DR1000S clearly?
