I really need to force myself to stop shopping there . I spent around £50 there so far and I'm currently totally broke. However I really wanted the entire Torchwood series and I didn't know how long the half price deal would be around for so I spent almost £36 just for that. Then I bought a bunch of other things from the top fiction section. Crazy prices. God I love having an ereader. The same books purchased in print locally, if I could get them at all would have easily cost six times as much. I've been forcing myself to wait on buying the other two books in the Millennium trilogy until I've had a chance to read the first book and see if I like it. Though I may end up going back and buying them just in case the deal goes soon. At American stores they're at least $10 each while with the sale at W.H. Smith it's just £2.72 each. And I keep seeing the newest book in the series listed on everyone's top 10 list so I'm really curious about it now.

Who said ebooks would kill book sales huh? I've spent more on books in the past few weeks than I spent in the past year when I bought print books.

Yuck, 2 of the 4 books I wanted to buy are restricted to the UK only. And the system let me put them in my cart too, it only reacted when I tried to check out.

Well, two out of four is better than nothing I guess.

Any hint on when this promo is going to end?

I discovered that sometimes there are two versions of a title. One is UK/ Ireland/ Australia. The other is the rest of the world except north america.

Too bad it's not Waterstones having the sale. They don't seem to bother enforcing geo restrictions.

I bought it too. Looks really interesting. I need to stop looking for good book tips or I'm gonna end up spending a lot of money at WHSmith

I don't know if any of you have had to avail yourself of WH Smith's customer service, but I have recently needed help on two different issues.

They are very responsive and very quick to do so. I am so impressed that they've moved to #1 on my site list. Regional restirictions permitting (and competitive pricing) my future purchases will be from them.

The sale is still going on so I picked up Runemarks. This one has been on my TBR-list for quite some time so I thought better to get it now before the sale ends.
