Hi, everybody

I am a newbie as far as E-Readers are concerned. After lots of thinking about and hesitations, I finally fell for a Bookeen Opus, the price of which seemed reasonable and which possibilities exactly fitted my needs.
The reason why I wanted a reader is that I read a lot, especially when on holliday. And books can be so bulky and heavy to travel with.
With my Bookeen, I carry a complete librairy within a 150g device. With the "electronic paper", the autonomy is just great.
But it is not the only reason to buy a reader.
I have read things about some of the ways the book edition world uses to boost sales. Like for instance editing 100 000 books to flood the displays in bookshops and be sure to sell 50 000 books, the other ones being destroyed without regrets. The waist of paper, therfore of trees it can generate make my hair stand on my head. (I am rather concerned about ecology...)
I think electronic edition can be a solution to stop these drains of vital ressources.
