Got a PM from WJMuldowney, he says he's not using Remote Desktop. I suggested perhaps checking for Windows updates and/or new video drivers.

No, I am not using any remote connection.

I am going to attempt to update Windows with anything out there that's available and also check my video driver for an update...but everything was fine up until recently, so I'm not sure what's causing it in my case.

Did the Windows update and my video drivers are the most recent.

Problem still exists.

I have changed the graphics library used to generate thumbnails, that should fix it for the rest of you as well.

I can confirm that the change DID fix the issues I had with the book covers not translating well to my nook.

I believe that warrants a donation to the Calibre cause.

I am thrilled with calibre right now. Every issue I've ever had has been addressed promptly and with professionalism and courtesy. This is the HUGE difference between independent developers and the big house developers. It's really like night and day.

I plan on making my first donation to calibre soon (I'm one of the millions of unemployed, so it'll be a small one to start).
