Sadly, this information is not superimposed on the wallpapers, so someone who finds a Kindle has to be somewhat familiar with them, in order to find your personal data. On Android Honeycomb, your (optional) personal data is displayed when the screen is locked.

Apparently Amazon has not looked around in the industry to see this idea, which is not new or original.

One has a 7 day window to return kindle content I think. Surely someone would notice the kindle missing before a week. And certainlya new amazon order confirmation in your email would be enough to raise suspicions
