You don't have to use the wing buttons; you can program the rocker ring for paging and anything else you want to. Ergonomically-speaking, I find it ideal; my thumb rests right on the upper edge of the ring. The wing buttons I have programmed for less-frequently used functions like note-taking, TOC, and Dictionary. Works like a charm.

What he said.

While I haven't been using my PB360 recently in favor of my iPad, I found the rocker ring to be totally perfect for page turns. I read my PB360 upside-down, with the logo on the bottom, rest the reader on my 4 fingers and hold the rocker ring with my thumb. The left side of the ring is page backward, right is page forward, up is increase font size and down is decrease font size.

I also found the wing buttons big, loud and not in the right place for regular use. I have mine set to go back to the main page, the dictionary and two other things I can't remember because I never used them.

I assigned my Wingbuttons to take notes while reading and to open dictionary, the second option i got on them is jumping +/-10 pages while reading. But in fact the most thing im using them both for is to get one menu point back (pressing them both the same time)

The problem with all these is the price. The first ones to get below 100 euro will win the race, in my opinion (provided they work, of course, which is not a foregone conclusion). I've got my hopes up for Ifa and what Thalia and Medion will present.
