I tried on both the library view and edit metadata (single). In both cases I needed to use 01/Jan/0101. |

I find that I must replace each part of the date, one by one. Type 01 into the day. Type Jan into the month. Then the strange Qt-inspired part that I can't fix: type 01 into the year, then position the cursor at the beginning of the year and type 01 again, giving 0101.

I continued to be plagued with this due to my fumble-fingered habits of clicking without really looking way over there on the second monitor. And occasionally, instead of clicking the read column, I'd be clicking the ReviewDate column. Ooops. Could figure out the trick for blanking the default date until a careful SIXTH reading of your post made me focus in on 01-InputCursorReset-01 in the year 'field'. When I hit enter and the offending date disappeared, I was mighty grateful to you and to this forum. So, for the second time today, thanks a lot. GM |
