The problem appears to be in Qt, versions older than 4.6.3 apparently can't render the icon correctly. I'll be updating all the binaries to Qt 4.6.3 for the next release (currently only the OS X build uses 4.6.3), but if you run from source, then you have to update your system Qt.

How do I find out which version of Qt I have?

And I would prefer the minimum number of toolbars. Screen space is always limited, even on a 24 inch widescreen.

I second that motion.

The new icons are nice although I was just as happy with the old ones (for me, the important thing is that they be recognizable and functional, which the old and new icons both were).

Not trying to be critical or suggest a change but did anyone find using the symbol for recycling as the icon for Remove Books a little odd?

You're recycling disk space.

This sounds good. I like the current toolbar.

I found this a bit odd too, but when in Rome calibre...
