It takes a while for me until I can get myself up to do stuff like that. But sometimes I do and then it's fairly amazing what comes out considering that I never learned that stuff. Last year I made a leather case for my zune with brandings right were the buttons are so that I can operate it without taking it out of the case.

So I guess I hold on for a couple of days and see if they get the 16gb in store again. Like stated before, I'll have to be quick when they get those.

I also thought about putting pictures on it, but actually, this will and can only be a selection of all my pictures as the native raw format probably isn't supported and the files are about 12mb each.
As for pdfs, I mostly read something and when I'm done I delete the stuff from my mobile devices. A habit I started with my Sony readers due to memory restriction of the device. The Sony have the SD-Card slot, but this was rather slow. So I just went with the internal memory.

But again, thanks for all the input. Despite being able to spend the money for the 64gb, I think the 16gb model is the one for me. You guys are awesome
Good choice. I don't put music on mine, don't have my email going to it, have a couple of movies, a lot of books and still have 10 gb left. I never use 3G service, I have an iphone for that.

Check back with the apple store daily. At least here the 16 gb version was the most common one that people would reserve and not pick up freeing them or walk in customer purchase. That is how it happened for me. Alternatively just order it or reserve it in person at the apple store.

Ok, thanks all. I've got my ipad.
First I called the store and asked what's available. After getting told that there weren't 16gb models I committed to a 32gb one. Guess what. Once I arrived at the store, there was a line of 32gb models on the shelf and hidden between those was ONE 16gb unit. So I immediately grabbed this one

So far I'm happy with it. There are some minor hiccups like having to use itunes instead of windows explorer to move things around, but I guess I get used to that. There are some more smaller annoyances like registering for an account and having to give them my address even though I'll only use itunes-cards, but I can live with that.
And I knew front up before I bought, so I guess it's ok for me.

So, thanks a lot for support, advice and some insight in your ipad habits.
