Just so long as it doesn't turn out to be:

more e-ink displays used = more displays produced = maxing out PVI's capacity with no corresponding increase in that capacity (and nobody else allowed to make them) = price increase

In short term, maybe (though unlikely IMO). Usually it should be more volume -> cheaper production -> lesser prices. They could also license the technology to other makers.
